Who is Tim Bick?

The guy is our latest signing and we hope he makes us lots of cash very proud.

Manager Shel Valentine says:
“I first encountered him at a party in an unfashionable part of West London. Some charity do for disadvantaged vinyl manufacturers and wholesalers. He was obviously drunk, or at least I thought he was. Later I realised, that’s just how he is all the time. He seemed to have a personal anecdote about almost any musician that came up in conversation. And none of them particularly flattering to the subject. Because of this I assumed he must be a tour manager, or maybe a massage therapist. Turned out he’s a musician himself. I suppose the fact that he never once removed his shades even though the room was candlelit should have told me. So I asked to hear some songs. They were astonishing, like Brian & Michael, who you may remember did ‘Matchstalk Men and Matchstalk Cats and Dogs,’ performing B-sides of singles by The Sweet. Completely unsaleable, rotten in fact. The worst music I’d ever heard and I’ve been in this business fifty years. But the trousers were right, so I asked him to write some more material. And now we’re really getting somewhere.”
